12 amazing students achieved their yellow belt status today after training very hard and diligently. These families' teams work together at home and practices daily to obtain the outcome they achieved. Please congratulate the Cardinale and Beck family, Jaden Jasinski, Ethan Borrero, Mason Shultz when you see them.

Congratulations to RokuDan Master Sensei David Harriger for achieving this promotion to his 6th degree black belt. Dave has been an intricate part of the success of The Family Martial Arts Center since 1998. Since then, I created a very successful MMA camp titled RIPT MMA. Dave was a huge part of our success and was instrumental an instructor. Dave currently runs his own kick boxing academy, Elevation Combat Sports Academy. I look forward to many more years of training and being involved in Dave's life and journey.
On Saturday January 24, 2026, The Family Martial Arts Center of Fredonia hosted their monthly “movie / game day”. Several children of all ages attended to support the event. We had families from Dunkirk, Silver Creek, Fredonia, Brocton. All of the children enjoyed playing board games, twister, card games, Jenga and many other games which we provided for them to enjoy. They enjoyed watching a movie in a peaceful room with parental supervision. Everyone had so much fun and are thrilled to return at the next event. Watching the children intertwine with other children and seeing them simply have fun was our goal. Noone was permitted any outside electronics. My goal was successful and with the help of some of the parents, we accomplished many smiles and just plain old active children. I plan on hosting another event soon. Congratulations to One of the sweetest and most amazing, talented students I've met in our karate dojo. Kohai Dalannie Masi advanced to her blue belt status on January 17th. This is proof that practice really works and having family support and encouragement allows the student to push much further. A special thank you to her mom and dad.
